Nick Covington scored a career-high 28 points, including three 3-pointers in the final 35 seconds, for Weber State (6-10, 0-3 Big Sky).

Northern Arizona (11-6, 3-0) converted 15 of 16 free throws down the stretch to seal the win.

Weber State led 38-36 at the half, but Northern Arizona went ahead on a 7-0 run to start the second half. The Lumberjacks pulled away on runs of 5-0, 6-0 and 8-0 to slowly pull away, and took their biggest lead, 66-57, on Bazy's layup with 8:46 remaining.

Weber State had one more surge, highlighted by Clint Burris's basket with 3:42 to play, to pull within 70-69.

But Kelly Golob answered with a 3-pointer and the Lumberjacks were near perfect from the line to finish the game.

Midway through the first half, Weber State had a 12-2 run, capped by a pair of 3-pointers by Covington and Coric Riggs. The Wildcats' biggest lead came with 5:10 remaining in the half when Brett Cox hit a 3-pointer to put WSU up 30-22.

Boykin got Northern Arizona back into the game, scoring eight points in the final 4:50 of the half. Boykin's basket with 37 seconds before halftime tied the score at 36. WSU's Chauncey Shelton's layup broke the tie and the Wildcats led 38-36 at halftime.

Sacramento State (12-5, 3-0 Big Sky) used a full-court press right out of the gate to rattle Idaho State (7-7, 0-3) and force three quick turnovers, allowing the Hornets to open up an early 11-2 lead.

Idaho State came storming back to tie the game at 15, but Sacramento State followed with a 12-2 run and eventually opened up a 55-44 halftime lead.

The Bengals chipped away in the second half, finally tying the score again at 94 with 2:37 left in the game. Idaho State took its first lead at 101-99 on a fast break dunk by senior guard David Schroeder. Schroeder then hit two free throws on Idaho State's next possession for a 103-99 advantage with just under a minute to play.

On Sacramento State's next possession, Bausley hit a three-pointer to cut the lead to one. The Hornets then forced another Idaho State turnover on the ensuing in-bounds play. The ball got kicked out to junior guard Clark Woods, who finished a frantic few seconds by canning his sixth 3-pointer of the night to give Sacramento State the lead again at 105-103 with 21 seconds left. Junior guard Akbar Abdul-Ahad answered with a 3-pointer to give Idaho State the lead at 106-105, but Bausley responded with the game winner.

Sacramento State was paced by senior guard DeShawn Freeman, who scored 27 points and added 12 assists. Bausley finished with 22 points and Woods added 20 points, going 6-of-8 from 3-point range.

Idaho State had six players in double figures, led by senior forward Slim Millien, who scored a career-high 31 points.
